It's easy to remember that it's still autumn despite the cold temperatures: yesterday I spent five hours cleaning leaves in my yard, and I'm not done. But the chilly weather and colorful leaves become even more colorful when they're enhanced by a great blue heron, as was the case recently in upstate New York.
