Lake Ontario is one of the great lakes, and although it's not an ocean, when you look out at it, it's as vast and unending as the sea. One thing that is interesting is that much of the shoreline is rocky -- not necessarily as much as parts of the coast of Maine, but still rocky. When the sun is just coming up, it's a stunning sight.
