Photo of the Day: August 27, 2008

One thing that's nice about the bright summer sun is that it lights birds beautifully, so you get a lot of clear, readable detail in their photos. It's even nicer when the bird is so bright you have to stop down your camera to keep it from overexposing, thus darkening the total scene.
