Photo Of The Day: July 8, 2008

Most cities, big and small, have a park in or near the center of downtown, and Miami is no exception. What is an exception for Miami, however, is that its downtown Bayfront Park has the usual array you might expect of rolling hills, gorgeous skylines over the grasses, and ponds with lush surroundings -- but it also has a sandy area full of palm trees right on the water that takes you away from it all in the time it takes to walk there. It's like taking your lunch hour and going to the beach. That's right -- this is smack in the middle of downtown Miami.
