Photo Of The Day: April 23, 2009

Woodrow Wilson Hall on the campus of Monmouth University was re-built in 1929 at a cost of $10.5 million after the original structure was destroyed by fire in 1927. It was known as the Summer White House after President Woodrow Wilson used it as the presidential summer home during the campaign of 1916. The new construction incorporated limestone, steel, concrete, and 50 varieties of Italian marble. It is an architectural marvel, and here is just one example.
