Photo Of The Day: May 16, 2008

Like the lighthouse example cited below, I always thought that beach grasses and dunes sculpted by a rickety snow fence were the exclusive purview of the Northeast. I figured that Miami would just have a white beach with some palms on it. Well, that's true in some places and there'll be some shots of that in future Photo of the Day posts. But in the meantime, there are some places in Miami that you'd swear were right out of Cape Cod or the Jersey Shore, like this place captured here.
