Photo Of The Day: July 4, 2009

The largest Fourth of July fireworks in the entire New York metro area outside of the Macy's display takes place in nearby Red Bank, NJ. Q104.3, New York's most-listen-to rock station, plays music that the fireworks are synchronized to. In addition to it being broadcast on millions of radios in the tri-state area, it is piped all through Red Bank so people can see the fireworks in context. These fireworks feature some very unusual designs, such as these "flowers" that lit up the sky last night. For more pictures of fireworks, visit Paul Scharff Photography.com.
